“Mi samo pokušavamo da preživimo”: 90 ljudi sklonilo se u jednu kuću u Gazi
Ibrahim AlAga i njegova supruga Hamida uživali su u produženom odmoru u Gazi kada su počeli izraelski vazdušni udari na tu teritoriju.
Par, koji su irski državljani, želeo je da njihovo troje dece rođene u Dablinu upoznaju palestinske rođake i uče o jeziku i kulturi.

Neki iz grupe pokušavaju da izađu svaki dan da vide da li se deli konzervirana hrana. Iako mogu da peku hleb u komšijinoj peći na drva sa sve manjim zalihama pšenice i vode, nema dovoljno za više od jednog obroka dnevno.
Posebno je teška situacija sa 30 dece – od kojih je 10 mlađe od pet godina.
„Uvek traže hranu i vodu, a mi se trudimo da im damo koliko možemo… Veoma je teško.
„Stariji, možemo malo da izdržimo, možemo da ostanemo gladni, ali kada deca traže hranu ne možemo da im kažemo ne.
Ibrahim brine za zdravlje grupe, u kojoj su trudnica i stariji dijabetičar za koje kaže da će uskoro ostati bez lekova. Ako se neko ozbiljno razboli, grupa neće moći da ga odvede u bolnicu.
I Ibrahimova deca su duboko pogođena ovim događajima. Omar i Ajlin – od samo tri i četiri godine, uplaše se kada čuju udar ili eksploziju, a Ibrahim i njegova žena pokušavaju da im odvuku pažnju igrajući igrice.
Noću, komešanje može da im prekine san i ponekad se probude vrišteći za roditeljima. Osmogodišnji Sami se plaši da će ga dronovi pogoditi.
