Zašto Novi Pazar posle sedam godina nije dobio lokalnog ombudsmana?
Novi Pazar još uvek nije dobio svog lokalnog ombudsmana bez obzira što je još u decembru 2020. godine Skupština usvojila odluku o raspisivanju konkursa i iako je pre sedam godina tadašnjim Statutom bilo predviđeno ustanovljavanje institucije Zaštitnika građana.
Na predlog Stranke demokratske akcije Sandžaka, doneta je i jednoglasno prihvaćena odluka o raspisivanju konkursa, čime su se stekli svi uslovi za pokretanje postupka izbora lokalnog ombudsmana. Međutim, do realizacije nije još uvek došlo.
S obzirom da je već sada protekao rok predviđen odlukom iz 2020. godine, potrebno je da Skupština donese novu odluku ili da prema odredbama iz člana 135. Statuta grada Novog Pazara izabere obudsmana direktno i bez raspisivanja konkursa ( u skladu sa zakonom i statutom), a na predlog ovlašćenog predlagača.
U januaru 2023. godina za portal Free media, republički zaštitnik građana Zoran Pašalić rekao je da lokalnog ombudsmana nema većina opština i gradova u Srbiji, te da se Novi Pazar u tom smislu ne razlikuje mnogo od drugih.
On kaže da u saradnji sa Udruženjem lokalnih ombudsmana radi na izmenama i dopunama tog zakona čime bi se uvela obaveznost lokalnog zaštitnika građana. Međutim, Novi Pazar kao grad još uvek čeka na realizaciju ovog obećanja Zaštitnika građana Pašalića.
Nažalost, sva obećanja ne daju optimizam građanima Novog Pazara, pa je i nada za ostvarenje ciljeva po ovom pitanju sve manja. Tome naročitno doprinosi činjenica da se još od 2017. godine čeka na formiranje funkcije i izbor lokalnog ombudsmana.
Da li se Novi Pazar stavlja po strani namenski ili je nešto drugo po sredi, još uvek nismo dobili odgovor…
