Aldin Ćatović i Mejra Mehmedović prvaci Balkana!
Atletičari Novog Pazara, reprezentativci Srbije Aldin Ćatović i Mejra Mehmedović postali su danas dvoranski prvaci Balkana u starijejuniorskom uzrastu.
Učenici Rifata Ziljkića su na šampionatu poluostrva u Beogradu bili najbolji na 3.000 metara, uz lični rekord Ćatovića od 8:13,62 minuta i pobedničkih 9:39,80, koliko je trčala Mehmedović.
Bronzanu medalju selekciji Srbije na 1.500 metara doneo je Novopazarac Kabir Ziljkić vremenom od 3:57,10 minuta.
U toj disciplini kod devojaka nastupila je Saima Murić, koje je zauzela šesto mesto ostvarenjem od 4:34,60 minuta.
Peti pazarski atletičar u ekipi selektora Edina Zukovića na Banjici bio je skakač uvis Amin Ajdinović, a lični rekord od 1,97 metara doneo mu je šestu poziciju.
Najuspešnija reprezentacija na Prvenstvu Balkana u dvorani je Srbija sa 16 medalja, od toga sedam zlatnih, pet srebrnih i četiri bronzane.
