“Islamska zajednica Srbije je sa velikom zabrinutošću primila vest da je danas ispred izraelske ambasade u Beogradu ranjen pripadnik Žandarmerije u terorističkom napadu od strane lica koje se, nažalost, deklariše kao pripadnik islama.
Duboko saosećamo sa ranjenim policajcem i njegovom porodicom. Naše molitve upućujemo za njegovo zdravlje i brz oporavak. On je deo nas i našeg društva, zbog toga ovaj napad doživljavamo kao napad na člana svoje porodice.
Čvrsto verujemo da terorista ne može biti vernik, niti da vernik može biti terorista. Ovakav neljudski čin treba dodatno ujediniti sve građane Srbije da zajednički čuvamo mir u našoj domovini, radi sigurnije sadašnjosti i srećnije budućnosti naše dece.
Počinilac ovog gnusnog čina nikada nije bio član Islamske zajednice Srbije, već je prema nekim nezvaničnim informacijama pohađao objekte koji su van kontrole IZS, kojima upravljaju privatna lica koja nisu službenici naše Zajednice.
S tim u vezi, molimo sve nadležne organe da učine dodatni napor kako bi Islamska zajednica Srbije, kao tradicionalna verska zajednica koja deluje preko 150 godina u Srbiji, dobila punu podršku u cilju ukidanja privatnih organizacija koje se svojim delovanjem direktno mešaju u nadležnosti Islamske zajednice Srbije, što je očito više puta do sada dalo veoma negativne rezultate na štetu mira, stabilnosti i suživota među narodima u Republici Srbiji.
Ohrabruju nas mudre poruke premijera Vučevića, koji je u ovom teškom trenutku prepoznao suštinsku potrebu našeg društva i koji je ovaj čin opisao kao akt bezumlja, koji se ne može pripisati nijednoj religiji i nijednom narodu: “To je zločin pojedinca s imenom i prezimenom.”
