U sezoni u kojoj se kao nikada pre oslonio na strance Novi Pazar je jednog igrača izgradio toliko da nije mogao da mu odoli ni šampion Srbije, pritom je od njegove prodaje i jako dobro profitirao. Ispostavilo se da niko nije na tako dobar način iskoristio jednogodišnji boravak u Novom Pazaru kao Ebenezer Anan (21).
Kad je prošlog leta pozajmljen od Bolonje, za čiji prvi tim je odigrao svega 24 minuta bio je potpuni anonimus, da bi posle samo 365 dana postao reprezentativac jedne od najjačih afričkih selekcija Gane i igrač Crvene zvezde. Njegov dolazak u crveno–bele redove iznenađenje je samo za neupućene, jer se već u februaru znalo gde nastavlja karijeru. U međuvremenu, Novi Pazar je otkupio njegov ugovor od Bolonje za 350.000 evra, pa je prodajom Crvenoj zvezdi za 550.000 ostvario najbolji transfer ikada.
